Alexander Schifter

Alexander Schifter is a fractional CFO consultant at Centripetal Advisors, working with enterprise SaaS startups to help them scale. His entrepreneurial experience, combined with financial expertise, allows him to provide essential guidance to SaaS founders in growing their businesses. Alexander also invests in his clients when opportunities arise, applying his deep understanding of startup business planning, strategic finance, and revenue operations. In 2022, Alex Schifter acquired XO Espresso Bar, a specialty coffee shop in Miami that offers high-quality coffee and wellness drinks. As the owner and CEO, he oversees all aspects of business development, financial planning, procurement, human resources, and payroll for two café locations. He has since expanded into wholesale operations and actively seeks new locations and franchise partners. Alexander plans to open a new XO Espresso Bar later this year in a highly sought-after Miami Beach area. In addition, he secured a three-year consulting and coffee supply agreement with Yann Couvreur, a well-known French patisserie, helping XO Espresso Bar expand to multiple locations. In 2021, Alexander co-founded Hello Arthur, a marketplace that enabled healthcare providers to purchase medical and dental supplies directly from manufacturers, allowing for cost savings passed on to customers. Despite the platform reaching six-figure revenue, Alexander decided to wind down the business and focus entirely on XO Espresso Bar. Alexander’s career began in 2015 as an Investment Bank Analyst at AGC Partners, a boutique investment bank in Boston. He was a Technology Investment Banker spanning several midsized and large regional boutiques from 2015 to 2020. He worked on both buy-side and sell-side engagements, creating financial models and preparing materials essential to successful M&A transactions. In 2017, Alexander joined DCA in New York as an Associate, contributing to several deals, including equity capital raises and sell-side advisory, and conducting due diligence for potential venture capital investments. During his time at DCA, Alexander joined Pharus Advisors, working on multiple M&A transactions and equity capital raises. Later, as Vice President at Trousdale Capital Management, Alexander focused on sourcing and executing growth equity investments in enterprise software companies, contributing to several successful investments. Alexander Schifter graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership Studies. He also competed as an NCAA varsity athlete in cross-country and track & field. Outside of his professional work, Alexander is dedicated to philanthropy, raising funds for cancer research, supporting Habitat for Humanity, and contributing to various charitable organizations in Miami.
