Andrew Lake

Andrew Lake is a recent graduate who works as Research and Development Manager at Lakefront Development Group. In this role, he conducts market research and performs in-depth analysis to support commercial real estate development projects in both the Pittsburgh and South Florida markets. He is also responsible for creating and applying strategies that identify and pursue new opportunities in investment and development. His skills include financial analysis, market research, project management, client relations, and quality management systems, all of which support his contributions to the company. Andy Lake earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship with a concentration in Finance from the University of South Florida. In recognition of his academic success, he received the Green and Gold Scholars Award in 2020, which provided tuition assistance to first-year out-of-state students with strong academic performance. While pursuing his studies, he was also a dedicated member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity for four years. Serving as Ritual Chair, he upheld the organization’s values and led fundraising initiatives to support the Huntsman Cancer Institute, demonstrating his commitment to service and leadership. His early education set the stage for later accomplishments. At Marshall Middle School, Lake earned Honor Roll recognition during the 2014–2015 academic year. At North Allegheny Senior High School, he successfully balanced academics and athletics, earning multiple Scholar Athlete Awards for football, basketball, and lacrosse. His leadership qualities were further developed at Summer’s Best Two Weeks Camp, where counselors observed his strong work ethic, positive outlook, and ability to encourage others. He graduated from high school with a 3.6 GPA, received multiple Scholar-Athlete distinctions, and was named a finalist for the John Rullan Lacrosse Scholarship in 2020. His professional experience began early with an internship at SRI Quality System Registrar in Wexford. There, he became the youngest in company history to earn an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certificate after completing a two-month training program with SAE International. His responsibilities included assisting in quality management audits and helping improve communication processes between clients and internal scheduling teams. Andrew also gained experience in customer service and teamwork through earlier roles at The Toy House and Emporio Restaurant. He is proficient in Microsoft Office, has basic knowledge of Python programming, and speaks introductory Spanish. He has also contributed to the community through volunteer work with the Miracle League, an organization that enables children with disabilities to participate in baseball. Born in Marietta, Georgia, he remains close with his family, which includes four siblings, a niece, and a nephew. He enjoys golfing with a 14 handicap, as well as playing basketball and football with his siblings. His personal interests include traveling, fishing, and cooking, along with aviation, which he explored through lessons during high school. As he continues to move forward in his professional life, Andrew Lake plans to pursue a commercial real estate license and focus on building his career in the South Florida market.
