I'm 66 Years Young and have been writing songs since I first heard and saw The Beatles. I've tried many times BUT can't stop. It has ruined my life in many respects BUT also enriched it. I never could hold down a real job because I'd be day dreaming about some new song or crazy idea. My teachers would always say..."BARRY, WHERE ARE YOU?" They'd complain to my poor Mom that I was just dreaming my life away and wouldn't amount to anything. She was right as far as Good Jobs and a Family with kids....I didn' have either one. I'm still obsessed with writing songs and telling stories of everything I see and think. I am married to my wife for 18 years. She's a few years older and much wiser. SO...That's really all you have to know. I write half my lyrics and all the music and sing and play every song. I write with outside lyricists also.
