Jill the Sub

After twenty years of teaching language arts and urban education, and after looking for ways to contribute to the transformation of city schools I've finally found my niche--I signed up as a substitute teacher at Harrisburg High School. So my new name is Jill the Sub. And i am convinced more than ever that all children and teachers deserve well supported, fully funded public schools that provide excellent academic, social, creative and personal opportunities for successful learning. This peaceful revolution will be difficult, but not impossible.
