Dr. Timothy Wasmund grew up locally in the metro Detroit area. He is a graduate of Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Sterling Heights Michigan. After high school, he attended the University of Detroit Mercy, receiving a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He then went on to pursue a degree in Chiropractic Medicine at National Univeristy of Health Sciences (NUHS). While attending NUHS, Dr. Wasmund not only received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, but he also received a second Bachelors of Science degree in Human Biology. Also, he received a certification in hypnotherapy through the National Guild of Hypnotists, multiple certifications in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He also acheived a certificaiton in Cox Decompression Adjustment and Manupulation Technique, and a certification as a Reiki Master/Teacher. During his experiences at NUHS, Dr. Wasmund had engaged himself into the most diverse experience possible. He served as a primary care physician at the university’s clinic system and in the Salvation Army Rehabiltation Program in Chicago Illinois. Then he was one of the few chosen to participate in an internal medicine rotation at a Graduate hospital in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He finished up his last four months of training in a private practice in the suburbs of Chicago. Dr. Wasmund is dedicated to using his diverse backround to deliver the highest level of quality alternative and holistic therapies while comminicating and cooperating with traditional medical doctors and other healthcare professionals to maintain the optimum health and well being of the patients he serves.
