Jonathan Tobias

Jonathan Tobias is a teacher, essayist, historic-site docent, and volunteer gardener living along the Albemarle Sound in Edenton, North Carolina. His writing wanders among prayer, poetry, sacramental imagination, ecology, liturgy, civic life, and what he calls a sacramental communitarian vision: the discovery that grace most often meets us in particular places, shared tables, gardens, choir stalls, and ordinary communities. He teaches theology and spirituality, with deep roots in the patristic tradition, and writes on faith, culture, and the mercy that arrives before explanation.
