I spend my days being a rare books librarian in Cambridge (UK), and my nights thinking about books I’d like to own; having recently read some excellent book-related blogs I thought it might be interesting to start sharing my enthusiasm by committing a few of my bibliographical musings on recent finds to the [blog] page. Without wishing to be at all self-centred, the majority of posts will naturally concern books I have purchased myself, but may also take in those I find in libraries or which come up for sale. A large part of the enjoyment of collecting books is sharing enthusiasm with like-minded friends, and I hope some of you will take the time to get in touch if you find something interesting.
