I currently live in Chicago (Rogers Park) with my husband and two cats. I've worked at the American Library Association since 2006 where I do program planning and marketing for the LITA (Library and Information Technology Association) Division. I received a BA in English with a minor in Women's Studies from Northern Illinois University in 2002 and plan to complete a MLIS from Wayne State University in 2012. I've also worked for a member association for teachers and a university library. My interests include cooking, quality television and movies, books and music of all sorts, feminism, roller derby, and Joss Whedon.
