I am a 38 year-old bilingual Latino male in my first-year of teaching. I specifically teach preschool (3 year-old) in Phoenix, Arizona. More specifically, I teach in South Phoenix, a low-income community with an historically struggling schools district and schools. Predominately, South Phoenix is demographically made-up largely of African-American and Latino families. I have been married to my lovely wife Allison for nearly 2 years and we have a beautiful 10 year-old daughter Izabella.
