Nick Dolbin

Nick Dolbin is the esteemed Chief of the Timberlake Police Department, backed by over fourteen years of rich experience in law enforcement that spans various leadership roles. His career is marked by commendations for his adept problem-solving skills, acute attention to detail, and strong interpersonal communications, earning him prestigious recognitions such as Rookie of the Year and Top Drug Buster. He has also received a Youth Community Award and a Department Commendation for enhancing community safety. Apart from his role in law enforcement, Nick is a proactive entrepreneur. He owns and manages Premier Field Services, a real estate sales and property management business based in Strongsville, Ohio, where he is also a licensed real estate agent. Previously, Nick made significant contributions as the 911 Operations Supervisor for the Cuyahoga County Department of Justice. In this capacity, he managed the intricacies of the county’s 911 system, including overseeing AMBER Alerts, coordinating responses to mass casualty incidents, and managing emergency communications throughout the county. Nick Dolbin’s law enforcement journey began at the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority, where his duties included patrolling subsidized housing complexes. His path through law enforcement led him to assume pivotal roles in multiple police departments across Ohio, such as Commander at the Amsterdam Police Department and leader of a significant drug enforcement operation at the Geneva on the Lake Police Department. He also served as an Administrative Sergeant at the MetroHealth Police Department, overseeing essential operations like dispatch, equipment, and personnel training and recruitment. Nick holds several certifications in crisis intervention, emergency medical dispatch, and tactical operations, which bolster his effectiveness in community safety management. A graduate of Cleveland State University, Nick earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Labor Relations. He has also pursued executive management education at Ashland University.
