The New Testament Christian Churches of America (NTCC) is a Christ-centered fellowship dedicated to proclaiming the truth of the Bible and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Rooted in the belief that the Scriptures are the inspired Word of God, NTCC has grown from a small beginning into a global network of churches. Since its founding in 1969, its mission has remained steady: to preach the Word, baptize new believers, disciple followers of Christ, and prepare leaders for enduring ministry. NTCC traces its origins to October 1969 in St. Louis, Missouri, when a group of committed Christians established the New Testament Church of God. Their purpose was to share the message of the Bible and help others grow in faith. In 1984, the organization underwent a reorganization and became the New Testament Christian Churches of America, a name chosen to reflect its broader mission and expanding national reach. From its early years, the fellowship emphasized building Bible-based communities and strengthening the spiritual lives of believers. Today, NTCC oversees more than 100 churches throughout the United States and abroad. Its work is guided by the aim of bringing the light of Christ to people everywhere, baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, and helping believers live as committed disciples. Church planting remains central to this mission, ensuring that people in both urban centers and remote areas can hear the message of salvation. NTCC also places importance on preparing men and women for ministry. Its seminary programs provide a foundation in biblical teaching alongside practical pastoral training. These programs focus on the authority of the Scriptures, the call to Christ-centered living, and the responsibility to serve others with compassion. Many graduates move forward to serve as pastors, missionaries, and leaders in NTCC congregations and mission fields around the world, continuing the fellowship’s vision of strong and faithful leadership. The fellowship has celebrated milestones in its history, including its 50th anniversary in 2019, marking five decades of growth and service. NTCC has also been committed to serving U.S. military members and their families, providing chaplaincy and pastoral care both at home and overseas. Internationally, missions have been established in places such as the Philippines and Panama, extending the Gospel to communities beyond the United States. Along with its international work, NTCC is active in local outreach. Churches regularly engage in food programs, youth mentorship, and family support, reflecting the fellowship’s desire to put the teachings of Christ into action. Across the country, NTCC congregations provide worship, fellowship, and spiritual guidance, creating supportive communities of faith. A board of directors directs NTCC, while local churches are given a measure of independence to address the needs of their communities. This balance ensures unity of mission while allowing flexibility. Leadership is shaped by accountability, integrity, and commitment to biblical principles, ensuring that the fellowship continues to serve faithfully. To reach people in the modern age, NTCC also utilizes digital platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and X. Through these tools, it shares sermons, devotionals, and encouragement, extending its mission beyond church walls and into the lives of people worldwide.
