Wine Country Northern California

Rose started her career after college as a Travel Agent. She has worked for American Express as well as smaller boutique agencies. She began with leisure travel for clients then arranged travel for foreign exchange groups from AFS, adventure and student groups for Siemer & Hand, and artist tours for the San Francisco Symphony, Chicago Ballet, and many more. After successfully supporting companies planning meetings and events in the Bay Area, Rose and her family moved to Sonoma County in 1986 and began orchestrating fly drive wine tours with PSA, assisted the Sonoma County Winery Association with logistics for their Grand Tour, as well as organized corporate and incentive events at wineries. Wine Country Destinations grew from a love of this great destination and desire to assist planners with events. In January 2011 Rose joined Viviani as an account manager for their corporate clientele. “This partnership gave me the opportunity to work with a well known Destination Management Company and collaborate with established industry professionals.” As Viviani transitions into another phase Rose has relaunched Wine Country Destinations as a separate company. “I have had the good fortune of working with people throughout this area that have become great friends. My job has given me the chance to do the things I love and work with people that want the same things: a happy client and a job well done, I rely on all of my partners to help me accomplish this. “ Rose is a Past President of the International Special Events Society Napa-Sonoma Chapter, and a Past Board member for the Meeting Professionals International Northern California Chapter. She was awarded MPINCC Meeting Professional of the Year & Strategic Partner of the Year for 2006-2007 as well as MPINCC Meeting Professional of the 2nd Quarter in November 2014. Rose has two sons she has raised, one attending the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and one finishing his degree in San Francisco to become a teacher.
